Spotlight on: Water's Edge Church in Yorktown, VA

Water's Edge Church became a client of PCI's in late 2002 when they set out to start a church in the Newport, VA area targeting young couples and children. Under the leadership of Stuart Hodges and with contemporary worship, drama and savvy video ministry, WEC is still doing just that almost five years later.

We have been able to keep in touch with WEC over the years, adding to their system as necessary and sharing stories and laughs whenever we can. Recently, Jamey Menser, Logistics Manager, contacted us to show us a very funny video they made for their set-up team called "Pimp My Y."

Every year, WEC does their own version of the "Emmys" wherein they create special videos to honor different volunteers and volunteer teams. This particular one, Pimp My Y, was done to honor the sincere efforts of the set-up and teardown teams.

This could be the last version of the WEC Emmys, as WEC launched an inspiring building initiative last year called The Big Dream. For now, as long as WEC is doing set-up and tear down, we can rest assured that they are having a good time.

Click on their video below for a closer look at Pimp My Y.
