Every time we experience a “busy season” or a “growth spurt” here at PCI, it is a reminder of just how much God is doing across North America. It is a reminder that the kingdom is constantly advancing, disciples constantly developing. Our current growth spurt is beginning to exhaust our current consulting force, and we are looking to add another consultant.
Our PCI Consultants are a rare breed. They have exceptional skills in the art of audio / video / lighting design, are conceptual in nature, speak “visionary” and specialize in logistics. Coupled with all their talent is an unbelievable passion for church planting and ministry.
So, we thought we’d use our blog as a grass-roots way to advertise our desire for another consultant!
PCI Consultants meet with visionaries all over the country to understand their specific needs, and then design a system specific to the client’s ministry. They make recommendations regarding facility usage, equipment necessary to accomplish the desired goals and provide the systems to effectively facilitate those plans! In-house, they work with the design, sales & marketing staff to make sure that all of the elements of a church’s system are designed, built and shipped according to plan.
Ideally speaking, any candidate would have the following experience:
- Audio Visual Design
- Audio Visual Operation
- Audio Visual Engineering
- Two Years Personally working in a church that meets in a temporary facility (either as a volunteer, or on staff)
- Project Management Skills
- Knowledge in Church Operational Methods & Procedures
- Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Physically able to assemble equipment racks
Our consultants are generally on the road about 20-25% of the time, and occasional weekend travel. Experience with PCI as a company is a plus, but not necessary.
You can see why the PCI Consultants are, indeed, a “rare breed”. We have been extremely blessed over the years to have found such needles-in-the-haystack, and we are excited about adding another to our team!
